Virtual Hospital Tour

In addition to iVet and Hills food, we carry toys, leashes, collars, dental supplies, treats and more in our retail area.

Our treatment area is equipped with three treatment tables to allow several doctors and technicians accessible working space at all times.

We have central oxygen where anesthetized patients can be easily and safely monitored in the treatment area, radiology, dentistry, surgery suites and our special procedures room.

Our treatment facility would not be complete without an intensive care unit. We utilize this on a daily basis to warm animals post-anesthesia; it also serves as our oxygen cage for those animals in need of additional oxygen requirements.

The treatment area also has a wall of kennels for those animals that need direct supervision, such as seizure monitoring and critically ill patients.

Our in-house laboratory can provide our doctors with blood results from critical patients in a little as 20 minutes. In many routine cases, lab results can be completed while the client waits.

Our in-house pharmacy provides our clients with the convenience of picking up most needed medications at the time of exam. In addition, all medications stored and dispensed at Kimberly Crest are stored in a controlled setting in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer therefore ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the medication. Many refills can be called in by phone or requested from your Pet Portal via the internet.

One of our newest equipment additions has been a Laparoscope. The laparoscope allows us to perform abdominal explorations with only a few very small punctures through the abdominal wall.  We are able to take photographs and attain organ biopsies without an invasive surgery.  This procedure is excellent for making accurate diagnosis prior to performing major surgeries or beginning cancer therapy.

The laparascope joins our scope family including; rigid rhinoscope that can be used for nasal exam and biopsies, female bladder exams and biopsies and tracheal and bronchial exams; and our varying lengths of endoscopes used for examining and attaining biopsies of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract.

Dentistry is another one of our specialties here at Kimberly Crest.  Our dental suite is equipped with state of the art equipment, including a digital radiology machine, ultrasonic scaler and a variety of high and low speed hand drills and the new rotary endodontic equipment.

Our doctors perform root canal therapy, crown placements, peridontal splinting, orthodontics, oral fracture repair and other tooth saving procedures, and surgical extractions when necessary.

Just like all of our anesthetized patients we monitor them closely with specialized equipment including; electrocardiogram, non-invasive blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels and body temperature.  Close monitoring allows us to make adjustments in anesthetic depth throughout our procedures.

Our surgical suite is also equipped with state of the art technology to better serve our patients.  Our surgeons perform routine and specialized soft tissue surgery from spays and neuters to complicated mass and organ removals.

Orthopedic surgery such as fracture repairs, TPLO, joint arthrodesis and much more are performed here on a regular basis.  Our skilled surgeon and team of technicians treat each patient as if  it were their own.
